Equality and Diversity matters

Following the Equality Act 2010, the college has a duty to:

Eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimisation.

Advance equality of opportunity.

Foster good relations.

The public sector equality duty covers eight of the nine protected characteristics, which are race, disability, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion and belief, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity.

How should we engage boys in learning???


I am studying for a Masters Degree  in Equality and Diversity and I have come accross this video clip about boys and learning. It is an excellent clip and really gets you thinking so if you have boys in your lesson that appear to be switched off or not engaged have a look at this.
